Botanic Name: Monotheca buxfolia (Falc) Dcne.ex Engler Local names: Gur Gura, Gurgura, Gwargurah or Gargol Location: An ever green tree could be found in the hilly semi-arid, high altitude regions of NWFP (Pakistan) and of the Arabian Peninsula. Ethno botanical uses: Grazed by camels and goats, Berries like fruit is eaten by local people and birds, wood used as fuel. Medicinal uses: Fruits are laxative, digestive and are used in urinary tract diseases.
